Feedback Is Interesting -

I receive feedback from other artists as well as from the general viewing public once in a while - and this sometimes makes we wonder what is it that inspired such comments -

this image brought a comment from another artist who said that he is naturally drawn to the series of patterns of which this images is one of a series:

12-29-2010DABC by Walter Paul Bebirian
12-29-2010DABC by Walter Paul Bebirian

this of course will give me something to ponder during a few moments today - but I am fully aware that I most probably will not be able to understand what it is about this particular image in this particular series that made the artist choose this one to comment on and it will most probably not necessarily effect my work flow in the least - most of the work that I have yet to do on thousands of images is already in my mind and this is what I am focused on completing at the present moment - perhaps later I will re look at what the comment that was made said to me - and begin to work further on this particular series or another one similar to it -

and Sometimes Things Fall Right Into Place Right In Front Of Me!

and the next step that I am to take just fits right in as well - next came a series with one of these images as its basis:

Small Changes - Big Results

If you notice - many of my images are similar or the same and they are very different because I have added only one or two elements - just as a very small change can alter a person's entire life presence here on Earth - the same goes for each of my images - and this adds to the ability to create many many many different although similar (in some ways) images:

do you see ways in which you can change a part if not all of your life with one or more slight changes?
Could it be the environment - attitude - outlook - tasks you are doing which you call your work or job or even the addition of a loved one to share your life with?

The Greatest Pleasures from the Simplest Things

Although I have and have always had great aspirations and motivation I have always been able to find the greatest pleasures in some of the most simplest things - this morning I was awakened to this fact all over again with these simple colors and shapes:

and then - as is most often the case - I was inspired to expand and elaborate on what I had rediscovered:

Is life this intricate -

or is it even more so than what is perceived sometimes:

and sometimes even more complicated situations seem to be more calm because of the way that they are ordered or at least how they are perceived to be ordered - this perception is often altered because of the distance that a viewer might have from the actual situation:

I wonder -

if anyone has the strong feelings that I have when I see this image and the many others that I have created that are like this:

I think that the colors are absolutely amazing and I know that they inspire me to continue on creating indefinitely!

Bring home the bacon -

I created this image after I heard a lady speaking at an event mention that she is the one that brings home the bacon:

10-28-2010IMG_6241A by Walter Paul Bebirian
10-28-2010IMG_6241A by Walter Paul Bebirian

and then that statement conjures up this other statement -

Living off the fat of the land:

8-23-2009IMG_3859A by Walter Paul Bebirian

I guess this means that I will either have to have bacon and eggs for breakfast or a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich - which brings me to the question - why does it seem that all of the most delicious foods end up not being good for you health wise to eat?

Favorites

I just don't know how they do it - An artist just posted a comment on an image that it is her favorite - I just don't know how people do it - I have no real favorites - I love every image - sometimes one more than another and then it changes quickly - but they are all - each one of them - my favorites:

I get to experiment every day - and many times in one day

One of the exciting things about my work and creating images as an artist is that I can and do experiment every day and many times during each day -

here is one such new development which I like very much:

and of course with photographs as well as the abstract images now that I am working digitally it is a very practical procedure to crop and size images in many different ways:

one of the fun parts about creating this way is that there are no rules and there are no limitations except those that I may place on myself - which is a fantastic concept to remember and apply to life in general!
